South Jakarta Baznas Bazis Injects Donation to Thousands of Mustahiq

From 1,432 people, 622 out of them are from Kebayoran Lama and 810 others are from Kebayoran Baru

The South Jakarta Muslim Charitable Donations Board (Bazis) and possibly integrating it into the National Alms Agency (Baznas), injected charity donation to 1,432 mustahiq (the recipients) from Kebayoran Lama and Kebayoran Baru sub-districts, on Monday (9/30).

Each person received Rp 1 million in the Peduli Muharram 1441 Hijri Festival and ZIS Utilization at the South Jakarta Mayor's Office.

South Jakarta Baznas Bazis Acting Chairman Yasdar said that those mustahiq were Koran teachers, TPA teachers, honorary teachers and marbut (mosque caretakers).

"From 1,432 people, 622 out of them are from Kebayoran Lama and 810 others are from Kebayoran Baru," he expressed.

Titi (35), a citizen of Kebayoran Baru said that the aid was intended for her daughter named Maulidya (10).

"Alhamdulillah this money will be used to finance my daughter education who still sits in grade 4th," she said.

Another recipient, Tawakal (43), a citizen of Grogol Utara admitted that she was happy to receive this cash money aid.

"Thank you for this aid. My family is including the poor. My husband doesn't work. Hopefully there will be the same activity like this next year," she hoped.
